Bullzi Security Launches Virtual CSO Offering

Lake Mary, Florida, August 30, 2007

Bullzi Security Inc. (BLLZ.pk), a leading converged security provider launches it’s Virtual CSO offering, an affordable alternative to a full-time, in-house Chief Security Officer (CSO).

Thomas Welch, co-founder and President of Bullzi Security stated, “The Virtual CSO was specifically created to provide organizations that do not have the budgets for a full time security executive or the in house expertise, the ability to implement an effective information security program, at a significantly reduced cost. In addition to the direct cost savings to the organization, Virtual CSO can also meet many of today’s regulatory requirements such as HIPAA, SOX, GLB, etc.”

Mr. Welch went on to say that, “We decided to launch this service at the request of some of our mid-tier clients. While these clients have the need for a security executive, they don’t necessarily have the budget to support a full time position. As part of this service, Bullzi Security assigns an executive security manager to assist the client with their information security needs. This security manager is retained on an as-needed basis and provides critical decision making support related to, both, physical and information security issues. The overall objective is to work with the organization’s executive team to accomplish specific business goals.”

The Virtual CSO will support the following objectives:
• Identify protection goals and objectives consistent with the organization’s strategic plan.

• Manage the development and implementation of a global security policy, standards, guidelines and procedures to ensure ongoing maintenance of security.

• Oversee a network of security directors and vendors who safeguard the company’s assets, intellectual property and computer systems, as well as the physical safety of employees and visitors.

• Maintain relationships with local, state and federal law enforcement and other related government agencies.

• Oversee the investigation of security breaches and assist with disciplinary and legal matters associated with such breaches as necessary.

• Work with outside consultants as appropriate for independent security audits.

All senior security managers that participate in the Virtual CSO program hold multiple advanced security certifications, such as the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certificated Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), and Certificated Fraud Investigator (CFI). Each of these professionals have proficient communication, negotiation, and leadership skills, as well as extensive knowledge of information technology and security solutions.
